Mr. Harjot Rai’s practice at Furlan Bhavsar LLP focuses on Family Law (including divorce, custody, parenting time, support, property disputes/issues, and prenuptial/separation/marriage contracts), Wills and Estates (including probate administration), Real estate transactions, Small Claims matters, and Landlord and Tenant disputes.
Mr. Rai was called to the Bar of Ontario in March 2026. Harjot is committed to providing thoughtful, strategic, and client-focused legal representation to individuals and families throughout the community.
Mr. Rai earned his law degree from the University of Leicester, where he developed a strong foundation in advocacy and legal research. Mr. Rai completed his Articles at Furlan Bhavsar LLP in 2025 under the guidance of senior partners Ms. Pritina Bhavsar and Mr. Dan Furlan, where he gained valuable experience in a broad range of legal matters and further refined his practical skills in client advocacy, legal drafting, and litigation strategy. Through his articling experience, Mr. Rai worked closely with clients and counsel on complex legal issues, developing a strong commitment to providing thoughtful, effective, and client-focused legal representation.
Whether negotiating settlements or representing clients in court, Harjot is dedicated to achieving efficient and effective resolutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Outside of his legal practice, Harjot maintains an active and well-rounded lifestyle. He enjoys playing soccer, working out, and watching movies.
