Shenae Valeria Williamson, B.SC, LL.B

Shenae Valeria Williamson is an Associate Lawyer at Furlan Bhavsar LLP.

She attained an Honours Bachelor of Science in 2017 from the University of Toronto with a double major in Psychology and Criminology. Ms. Williamson’s law degree was completed at Leicester University in the United Kingdom, and she graduated with Honours LLB (Senior Status). She returned to Canada to practice law in 2019. She is a proud member of the Law Society of Canada and the Peel Law Association.

Shenae Valeria Williamson’s practice focuses on Family Law. She is proficient in matters concerning divorce, custody, access/parenting time, child support, spousal support, and division of property/assets. Shenae also practices Child Protection (CYFSA) Law and appears in court for CAS matters. The remainder of her practice focuses on Wills and Estates and Criminal Law (Youth Justice). Her aim is to build a practice that is driven by the desire to help clients in need. Ms. Williamson accepts Legal Aid and is registered under the LAO (Legal Aid Ontario) Roster.

Shenae was born in Jamaica and has loved helping people since she was a young child. She was an active member of the pro bono society in law school. She also worked as a litigation law clerk for years before she began her articling and was called to the Ontario Bar.

Outside of work, Shenae spends most of her time with family and friends. She is a spiritual individual very involved in her church and loves to volunteer in the community. She also enjoys singing, writing, and reading and has a passion for the mentorship of at-risk youth.
